The Catering Director responsibilities include but not limited to
- Promote GRO Catering in the entire Northwest Arkansas region, as well as Eastern Oklahoma and Southern Missouri.
- Develop marketing plans to achieve sales goals.
- Negotiate contracts for events based on company guidelines.
- Product purchasing for all events.
- Cost control of food and labor
- Equipment rental or purchasing as well as maintaining.
- Recruiting, hiring and training of staff.
- Plan logistics for events ranging from 25 guest to 2000 guest.
- Maintaining the vast current list of clients.
- Acquiring new clients.
- Active in the communities, such as the local Chambers of Commerce, nonprofit organizations etc...
- Quality control and food safety guidelines are exceeded.
- Active at events from the food ordering through service.
- Be willing to be hands on at any event.
- Basic knowledge of computer programs.
- Event planning experience.
