What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vault Clerk position at Golden Eagle Casino?
SUMMARY
Verify, balance and record incoming and outgoing cash, chips or other items of cash value. Prepare trays for bank issue; stage currency and load bill breaker machines. Assist cashiers as needed.All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Golden Eagle Casino’s policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

- Perform duties associated with collecting the cash boxes from machines and table games
- Accurately count and record daily cash receipts from various revenue-producing venues
- Conduct all facets of the count, prepare the drop, verify documentation and currency bundling to the final reconciliation of totals, as well as any other related task
- Prepare various reports, reconciling all totals to the master summary; forward all information to appropriate individual(s)
- Maintain records, reports, and other required paperwork in the cashiering and count room division of the Finance Department
- Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of situations
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form
