Summary:
Summary: Responsible for the maintenance, alterations, and repairs of Team Members’ uniforms.
Essential Functions And Responsibilities
- Performs all alterations to ensure proper fit, including hemming, adjusting waist bands, replacing zippers, fix tears, apply buttons, and lengthening.
- Launders, steams, and presses uniforms, as needed
- Works with both male and females’ uniforms
- Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position
- Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in the same or similar position
- Previous experience accurately fitting, pinning, and marking men’s and women’s uniforms while uniforms are being worn
- Previous experience taking accurate measurements on both men and women and basic math
- Previous experience spot cleaning and pressing
- Knowledge and experience working on industrial sewing machines, various fabrics, walking foot machines, sergers, blind hemmers, and pressing equipment, using patterns to cut fabric, sewing/construction of clothing, hand stitching and alterations required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate in small group situations
- Must be able to work weekends
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred

- Walking and continuously standing (up to 25% of the time)
- Sit at a desk or table (up to 75% of the time)
- Occasionally lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Use tools and equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity
- Work for sustained periods of time maintaining concentrated attention to detail
- Need to distinguish between shades of colors
- Vision, speech, hearing, and literacy (critical)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work with some dust and hot and cold temperatures
