Duties
- Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism as they arrive at the clinic.
- Assist the doctor and veterinary staff with animal restraint and handling during examinations or treatments as needed.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, pet care, and clinic policies.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all information is up-to-date.
- Process payments and handle billing inquiries with attention to detail.
- Provide information to clients about animal physiology, pet care, and preventive health measures.
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians to ensure smooth clinic operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the entire clinic.
Skills
- Strong animal handling skills with experience in a veterinary clinic setting preferred.
- Knowledge of animal physiology and critical care practices is advantageous.
- Excellent front desk management abilities, including scheduling and customer service skills.
- Familiarity with veterinary terminology and procedures is a plus.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a calm demeanor.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
