GKG is seeking a Budget Analyst to join our team for an upcoming contract award in support of INSCOM.
- Participate in establishing and defining program plan requirements and conducts program plan studies.
- Monitor and report performance against plans to ensure contractual, cost, and schedule objectives are met.
- Prepare estimates to complete (ETC) and spend plans, audits subcontractor invoices, and provide briefings and related documentation and reports for financial assessments supporting corporate and Government requirements.
- Forecast and track financial results throughout the year to meet budget projections.
- Organize budget templates and data in a clear and intuitive manner.
- Help identify financial or operating risks associated with the execution of the contract or project.
- Provide project summary status reports to management as required or requested.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Top Secret (TS) security clearance with Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) indoctrination.
- Bachelor's degree (in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration) or equivalent, and two-four years of related (technical program planning,
implementation, contract interpretation, budget development, and/or government project administration) experience. - Associate's degree in finance, Accounting or Business Administration with four years plus related experience.
- Knowledge of DAR/FAR and other applicable government regulations.
- Experience must include integrated program analysis, ability to quickly gain expertise in program specific requirements, budget preparation for
complex projects and narrative justification, preparation and presentation and work with various types of Government funding with emphasis
on Army. - Demonstrated expertise in the use of Microsoft Excel applications.
