The Director of Finance is responsible for accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis for all business units falling under the Golden Link Group. The position reports to the Chief Financial Officer.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting - Preparing and reviewing financial statements for management and external entities.
- Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Lead the budgeting process and manage the preparation of the annual budget.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and forecasts.
- Monitor financial performance and cash flow, identifying trends and recommending actions.
- Financial Operations:
- Oversee all financial transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with accounting standards.
- Manage the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and internal teams.
- Supervise the preparation of tax filings and ensure compliance with relevant tax laws.
- Budgeting/Forecasting: Assisting in the preparation and review of income statement and balance sheet budgets and forecasts.
- Cash Flow & Cost Management:
- Overseeing cash flow report preparation and review.
- Manage debt and debt compliance.
- Assist management with cost control efforts through the identification of process weaknesses and the implementation of appropriate business controls.
- Internal Controls & Compliance: Ensuring strong internal financial controls and compliance with GAAP.
- Process Improvement: Identifying ways to enhance financial operations and streamline processes.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA, or CMA) is highly desirable.
- Minimum 7-10 years of progressive financial management experience.
- Proven track record in managing finance operations, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS).
- Experience with financial management software (e.g., ERP systems like SAP, Business Central).
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
