This loving family is seeking a dedicated and compassionate nanny for a long-term position. They are looking for a reliable and consistent caregiver who can provide support for their 3-year-old son and assist with various daily tasks. With a focus on maintaining a clean and well-balanced lifestyle, the family needs someone who can engage their child in enriching activities and help with daily routines.
Position Overview:
The family is hiring a single nanny to cover the following shifts:
- Morning Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM
- Afternoon Shift: Monday to Friday, 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM
- Weekend-Only Shift: Saturday, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM / Sunday, 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM
The nanny will focus on age-appropriate development, particularly on improving hand/eye coordination and assisting with potty training. The family is looking for someone who is proactive, nurturing, and experienced in providing consistent care.
Responsibilities:
- Engage in age-appropriate play and learning activities to support developmental milestones (e.g., fine motor skills, language, and social/emotional growth)
- Assist with potty training and maintain a consistent daily routine
- Help with light housekeeping tasks, including children’s laundry and dishes
- Support daily routines and assist with school drop-offs and pick-ups (family vehicle provided for driving duties)
- Ensure a safe, nurturing, and organized environment for the child
- Be flexible and available to adjust to occasional schedule changes as needed
Qualifications:
- Experience with toddlers and early childhood development
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
- Ability to create a positive and supportive environment
- Must have a reliable car for driving duties (gas reimbursement provided)
- Dependable, punctual, and flexible
- Background check and references required
Additional Information:
- Pay is in cash
- The family has a 7-year-old Havanese dog named Sophie, so comfort with pets is required
- The family is seeking long-term support to maintain stability for their child due to a recent health diagnosis of the father
