It is the responsibility of the Controller to oversee and administer all aspects and functionality of Casino Finance and Accounting and the Count Room. In addition, the Controller will respond as required to internal/external auditors, regulatory agencies and tax authorities. Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee Casino Audit in the performance of daily work and compilation of numbers for the daily operating report.
- Manage the month-end closing of the casino accounting records.
- Review supporting documentation for balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare monthly gaming tax returns, quarterly and annual licenses.
- Respond to questions and requests from the Nevada Gaming Control Board, Internal Revenue Service, Internal/External Auditors and other regulatory agencies.
- Review and sign checks as requested.
- Participate in the annual budgeting process
- Prepare end of year filings including W-2G’s and 1042’s.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.

- Knowledge of cage transactions and procedures.
- Knowledge of casino department’s revenue transactions and procedures.
- Must be able to obtain a Nevada Gaming Registration.
- Minimum age requirement of 21.
