What are the responsibilities and job description for the SLOT TECHNICIAN position at Golden Nugget?
Overview : Slot Technician
It is the responsiblity of the Slot Technician to provide fast, friendly service while performing repairs and preventative maintenance on slot matchines.
Responsibilities :
- Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures
- Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees
- Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service
- Ensure all slot machines on the casino floor are operating according to company standards
- Maintain confidentiality of all Golden Nugget information including business processes, customer lists and any other confidential information
- Perform preventive maintenance, modifications and relocation of slot machines and peripheral devices
- Rebuild parts / equipment during down time, and maintains the parts inventory as assigned
- Circulate through assigned area performing repairs as necessary
- Ensure that all slot / storage areas are clean and organized
- Responsible for the set-up and testing new slot product
- Responsible for the security of keys and all issued tools and equipment to perform functions of the position
- Complete all regulatory / operational documents thoroughly and legibly
- Performs other duties or projects as required
- Must be able to stand for an entire shift and be able to move throughout the Casino / Hotel areas
- Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and / or unusual hours
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
