We’re Looking For A: Bilingual HR Coordinator (English/Spanish)
Location: Richfield, WI
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Own the onboarding and orientation process for new hires, including reviewing pre-employment information to confirm clearance, preparing materials for new hire orientation, facilitating new hire orientation, processing new hires into HRIS, assigning required trainings to new hires and providing tours to new hires
- Manage the temporary employee conversion process, including completion of pre-employment screening requirements, processing into HRIS, ensuring completion of required new hire tasks and enrollments to ensure a smooth transition to becoming a full-time employee
- Schedule and lead required safety and quality trainings for new employees and coordinate annual refresher trainings for all employees
- Manage and maintain the online learning systems for safety and quality by assigning courses for new hires and archiving users upon termination
- Maintain attendance discipline tracking, including monitoring the attendance call-in line and preparing necessary documentation for supervisors
- Respond to verifications of employment and other employment-related inquiries
- Maintain the HRIS on a regular basis by carefully reviewing and processing entries and employee changes
- Process various employee lifecycle processes in HRIS including new hires, promotions, compensation changes, department changes, terminations, etc.
- Maintain and update the company intranet with important updates and changes
- Assist with the planning and execution of company events
- Monitor break room and office supply inventories, completing and organizing orders as necessary
- Manage the lobby area including greeting new hires, candidates, applicants, visitors, etc.
- Provide administrative support to other department functions within the manufacturing facility as needed
- Act as a resource to employees throughout the employee lifecycle from onboarding to termination; provide assistance and direction on HR programs, benefits, payroll, policies, resources and procedures
- Assist the Manager, HRBP with special projects and/or HR tasks as assigned
- Maintain employee electronic files and HR records; regularly audit I-9 documents
- Stay current with changes in employment law and emerging trends; ensure compliance with any legal or regulatory requirements
- Assist the corporate HR team with special projects and/or tasks as assigned
Preferred Qualifications (Note: These are preferred and not required. We strongly encourage you to apply even if you don’t tick ALL of these boxes.):
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 3 years of experience working in HR
- HRIS experience
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration (preferred)
- 3-5 years of HR experience in various HR functions (preferred)
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
