Who We Are
Golden Queen Mining Co., LLC (the “Company”) operates a gold and silver, open pit, heap leach operation on its Soledad Mountain property, located just outside the town of Mojave in Kern County in southern California. The Project uses conventional open pit mining methods and the cyanide heap leach and Merrill-Crowe processes to recover gold and silver from crushed, agglomerated ore.

You may have experience with crushing, screening, and stacking operations, which may include experience with many facets of maintenance within these operations.
As a Crusher Operator, you would report to the Crusher Operations Supervisor. This is a safety sensitive position.
What You Do
- Perform the day-to-day operation of the 3-stage crushing and screening plant and conveying and stacking system.
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently to maximize throughput.
- Monitor equipment and systems to ensure proper operation.
- Ensure quality of material being crushed, screened, and stacked to maximize permeability and recovery.
- Provide input and assist maintenance personnel as needed.
- Perform cleanup and housekeeping to ensure a safe, clean, and productive work area.
- Perform inspections throughout to ensure shift dust control systems are functioning properly and that dust is being controlled.
- Perform conveyor and stacker move as needed.
- Assist metallurgical personnel to achieve maximum system performance and recovery.
- Assist with training of new crusher operators.
- Assist with the development of methods and procedures.
- Perform all work in a manner to achieve a zero level of incidents in the process department.
- Participate in crusher department safety meetings.
- Offer ideas and suggestions for continuous improvement of the crushing facility operations.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Bring
- Experience in crushing and screening and stacking operations.
- Experience with operation and maintenance of crushing equipment including but not limited to jaw crushers, cone crushers, HPGR crushers, screens, agglomeration, conveyors, and stackers.
- Experience in operation of forklifts, skid steers and track dozers.
- Experience in operation of dust control systems, high pressure sprays, and baghouses.
- Experience working around electrical systems.
- Effective communication skills, as well as solid interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- High work standards and a professional presence and
- Results-oriented and a solid team member with the ability to drive projects forward with minimal supervision.
- Driver’s license required.
