Handrail manufacture seeking an in office entry-level to experienced AutoCAD technician that will be responsible for producing accurate and concise 2d plans from construction documents and specifications on infrastructure projects with minimal oversight.
Position offers the opportunity for growth and advancement within the company. Ideal candidate must have AutoCAD background and preferably experience in reading and understanding construction documents.
4 day work week (Mon - Thurs) in a casual office environment.
Primary duties and responsibilities:
- Read and interpret construction/bid documents
- Generate 2d plans from said documents for approval by the customer
- Communicate with customer regarding revisions to plans
- Strong organizational skills
- Microsoft office programs
- Verify accuracy of estimated quantities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
