Were looking for a driven and energetic Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team and play a key role in building our sales pipeline.
Position Overview
As a BDR, you will be the first point of contact for prospective clients, responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying leads for our custom software development services. This is an inside sales role, ideal for a motivated self-starter eager to build a career in sales. You will focus on mid-market to enterprise companies, driving initial outreach and securing meetings for the sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage prospect lists and scrub leads for accurate up to date information.
- Proactively make a high volume of outbound calls and send targeted emails to identify and engage potential customers.
- Research and qualify prospects to ensure alignment with Whale Songs ideal customer profile.
- Engage prospective clients to understand their challenges and introduce Whale Song's custom software development services.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities in the CRM system, tracking progress against KPIs.
- Stay updated on industry trends and Whale Song's service offerings to communicate value effectively.
- Work closely with the sales team to develop and execute strategies for building a robust pipeline.
- Partner with the Director of Business Development to support sales initiatives and ensure a seamless handoff of qualified leads.
