Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Sports Performance Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in coaching and a strong background in various sports, including soccer and Track and Field. This role involves educating and training athletes of all ages, fostering their skills, promoting teamwork, and ensuring a safe and positive environment for all participants.
Responsibilities
- Candidate will be responsible for setting up the training program to include progression and individualization, where possible, for athletes focusing on different sports.
- Candidate will complete performance testing throughout the season to receive feedback on the program and provide data to parents
- This job will predominantly consist of group training sessions but 1:1 sessions are an opportunity
Qualifications
- Candidate must possess certification (NSCA-CSCS preferred)
- Candidate should have experience as an athlete and a good understanding of the demands of the sports that a majority of our athletes come from- cross country and track and field, soccer, and lacrosse.
- Candidate should understand how to work with different learning styles and be prepared to teach movement mastery to all athletes
- Experience working with teams, athletes or individuals to motivate and reach an end result
- Available for in person training sessions most weekday evenings
- Is a self-starter and can manage programs and groups without much oversight
- Pays attention to the small details as well as understands the big picture
Requirements: We need you to complete SafeSport certification, background check and CPR/First aid

1. For the high school track athletes that we train we have a 4-month buildup together to the season each winter. How would you differentiate the strength training for our mid-distance and long-distance track athletes? The more specific you can get with this the better.
