Job Summary
Under Minimal Supervision, the Core System Manager is responsible for analyzing banking operations in order to establish their technology requirements. This position develops and implements projects in support of business requirements. Working with internal staff and third parties, the Core Manager ensures accurate core configurations and data integrity.
Essential Job Duties
- Strong understanding of core banking technologies with the ability to creatively use core resources in support of business needs.
- Supports and administers products with direct core integration
- Provides business analysis and requirements gathering in support of end-users.
- Translates business needs and requirements into system capabilities.
- Ability to identify the optimal trade-off related to projects between scope, time, and cost.
- Provides technical support on core banking integrations as well as products.
- Documents procedures related to core banking application.
- Develops management reporting and dashboards using applicable tools as required.
- Actively addresses outstanding defects or issues impacting business operations.
- Implements/addresses within organizational priorities requests for core application customization
- Facilitates testing and quality control processes in relation to core applications management.
- Manages the core applications workgroup including coaching, training, and task management.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 10 years’ relevant work experience in banking/finance
- Familiarity with banking regulations related to operations
Computer & Software Skills
- Must have foundational computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook email and calendaring) and the Internet.
- Must have experience in management of Core Banking applications. Jack Henry experience preferred.
Travel
- Occasional local travel

Min.: $120,000 to Max.:$130,000
