Description
We are looking for a Full Time Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team.
Job Duties Include:
- Managing accounts payable using accounting software and other programs
- Handling accounts payable for separate entities and vendors
- Analyzing workflow processes
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors
- Ensuring bills and payroll are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures
- Facilitating payment of vendors, which may include verification of federal ID numbers, reviewing purchase orders, and resolving discrepancies
- Processing due invoices for payments
- Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts
- Assisting with accounting records and ledgers by reconciling monthly statements and transactions.
- Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications
Education:
- High school diploma or GED certificate, college (Preferred)
Qualifications:
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, basic formulas)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience:
- 3 years Accounts Payable Experience
Pay Range:
- $25.00 to $27.00 per Hour
*Higher compensation may be available for someone with advanced skills and/or experience
