Description
We are looking for a Full Time Patient Accounts Receivable Representative to join our team.
Job Duties Include:
- Preparing patients billing statements and ensuring that they are sent to them in a timely manner
- Reviewing patients billing statements to ensure accuracy of information
- Assisting in evaluating patients financial status and devising payment plans
- Following up on delinquent accounts and ensuring payments where possible
- Performing collection actions by calling patients
- Submitting claims and resubmitting denied claims
- Preparing daily deposit activities
- Preparing reports and performing analysis of billing documents
- Verifying patients insurance coverage
- Performing appeals on denied claims
- Managing accounts receivable reports
- Using a variety of medical billing software to post charges
- Verifying billing information posted
- Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college (Preferred)
Qualifications:
- Familiar with HMO insurances
Experience:
- 2 years of medical collections experience (Preferred)
Pay Range:
- $23.00 to $26.00 per Hour
*Higher compensation may be available for someone with advanced skills and/or experience
