Description
We are looking for a Full Time Staff Accountant to join our team. This role will primarily focus on basic general accounting tasks that include accounts payable (AP) responsibilities, including reviewing and improving AP processes, as well as assisting with banking operations. The ideal candidate will also interface with the Revenue Cycle department to reconcile and post patient and third-party payments in our systems.
Job Duties Include:
General Accounting:
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Record journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts.
- Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Perform account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations.
Banking:
- Monitor daily cash flow and bank balances to ensure optimal balances.
- Prepare and process bank deposits, wire transfers, and ACH payments.
- Investigate and resolve banking discrepancies.
Accounts Payable:
- Process and verify invoices, ensuring proper coding and compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Manage AP aging reports and ensure timely payments to vendors.
- Review and refine accounts payable procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and compliance.

Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (experience with ERP systems is a plus).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
Experience:
- 0–2 years of relevant accounting or accounts payable experience.
Pay Range:
- $60,000 to $75,000 per year
