Role: Automotive Plant Assembly Supervisor (Potential Future Plant Manager)
Location: Romulus Michigan
Duration: Full time
Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automotive Plant Assembly Supervisor who is looking to take on a leadership role with the goal of advancing to Plant Manager. The ideal candidate will bring strong automotive manufacturing experience, particularly in supervising assembly line operations, and will have the potential to grow into a strategic leadership role within the plant.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred, ideally in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in automobile manufacturing operations, particularly in supervising production areas or salaried employees.
- Experience in automotive assembly line operations with a strong understanding of production, quality control, and safety protocols.
- Experience with manufacturing launches, maintenance, and/or engineering processes is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams and drive results.
- Demonstrated knowledge in key areas such as manufacturing engineering, maintenance, material planning & logistics, and quality management.
- Proven ability to implement and maintain continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Business acumen with the ability to make sound decisions that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
- A results-driven mindset with a passion for operational excellence and team development.

- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities.
- Adaptability and a proactive approach to solving challenges.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to engage with both employees and senior management.
