Position Overview:We are looking for a Personal Chef Assistant who brings a positive attitude, adaptability, and strong attention to detail to both kitchen prep and meal deliveries. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in their work, and can interact professionally with clients. The right candidate will be able to problem-solve on the go, stay organized under pressure, and jump in where needed to keep operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities:- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, portioning, and packaging meals with care and accuracy
- Pack and organize orders to ensure efficient and correct deliveries
- Safely drive and deliver meals to clients’ homes and offices, navigating traffic and inclement weather as needed while maintaining a professional and customer-focused attitude
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the shared commercial kitchen, working efficiently within the space
- Adapt to last-minute changes in orders, deliveries, or event setups with a flexible and can-do mindset
- Occasionally assist with catering events, helping with setup, plating, and cleanup as needed
- Communicate effectively with the chef and team to keep the workflow smooth
- Previous kitchen experience preferredÂ
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursement available)
- Proficiency in English for clear communication with clients and team members
- Tech proficiency a plus - Ability to use GPS and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Calendar)
- Strong time management, attention to detail, and adaptability to keep orders and deliveries running smoothly
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- A positive attitude and team-oriented approach—someone who jumps in and finds solutions rather than getting stuck on problems
- Work alongside a chef with Michelin-star experience in NYC & SF
