Why wait till summer to start earning some extra money? We offer consistent , part-time hours, a set weekly schedule and fully paid training, immediately starting at $16-20 per hour - Great as an after school or second job to stay active!

Offering up to $150 bonus until position is filled! Earn $50 at 30 days of employment, $50 at 90 days of employment and an extra $50 if you already hold a Red Cross or J Ellis lifeguard certification.

What will you be doing?

Lifeguards are responsible for ensuring the success of swim lessons by :

Making sure you and your team are set up for success at every lesson by preparing for each shift and reviewing your lesson themes

Supervising lessons to ensure our Golden Safety Rules are being followed

Taking action to keep swimmers safe in and around the water

Maintaining your skills through ongoing training

Youll be there to encourage new and returning swimmers and to support them as they progress from mini and junior swimmers to gliders and pros!

What will be expected of you?

You have to be patient & genuine - every swimmer learns at their own pace, in their own way. Your willingness to help each student as an individual and your ability to bring your own personality to your job are key to the success of both you and our students.

You must have communication skills to work not only with children, but with parents and team members as well

The ability to do quality work and represent Goldfish Swim Schools mission to change lives and make a difference every day by going above and beyond with every detail, meeting and exceeding expectations to create a golden experience

Doing the right things, making the right decisions and treating people with integrity, compassion and trust

Want to do more? Most of our lifeguards are also Swim Instructors! Cross-training is available for those who are interested in teaching, too.

Schedule :

This position is a great opportunity for those ages 16 and up and others who are interested in an exciting, part time position. Your schedule will be created based on your availability and our set lesson times from :

9 : 00-1 : 00 on Tuesday and Wednesday

4 : 00-8 : 00 on Monday through Friday

9 : 00-3 : 00 on Saturday

9 : 00-4 : 00 on Sunday

Youll be scheduled for the same days each week (Ex. every Monday from 4 : 00-8 : 00) and arrive 15 minutes before lessons start to participate in the pre-shift meeting.

No half-shifts or mid-shifts available

We wont ask you to stay late at night - When lessons end, we go home!
