Requirements:
• Ability to work multiple positions on any given day with a "Can Do" attitude
• Able to work Saturdays or Sundays as required
• Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills
• Must pass background examinations
• Ellis Lifeguard Certification required (provided through Goldfish Swim School)
• Desire to have FUN!
Summary: Oversees the quality and success of Goldfish Swim School daily operations including staffing, pool operations, cash management, customer service, retail and vending department, private party operations and workplace employee activities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Directs and controls the daily operations to ensure the school is running according to GSS standard operating procedures.
• Manages the staff of GSS to ensure high productivity, excellent performance and positive employee satisfaction.
• Key hold open and closing of the store with attention to detail and procedures.
• Gains knowledge and experience in the Front Desk software to achieve a high level of competence in bookings, class scheduling, reporting and administrative functions.
• Gains a high level of knowledge and experience in the GSS pool operations necessary to maintain a safe and sanitary swim environment.
• Ability and willingness to work roles including Front Desk, Swim Instructor, Golden Teacher & Deck Supervisor position as needed.
• Maintains current certifications and stays up-to-date professionally on the aquatics and management field.
• Fulfills other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Employer.
Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED is required. Experience as a certified lifeguard, youth sports instructor/coach, camp counselor and/or childcare provider preferred. Swim knowledge or background preferred. Customer Service background preferred
Certificates and Licenses: Lifeguard, CPR/AED and first Aid certification required. Shallow water attendant highly recommended.(can obtain these certifications after employment through Goldfish)
Work Environment: While performing this job, the employee is regularly exposed to heat and humidity. Noise level is usually moderate.
Employment type: Part-Time with the possibly to advance into a Full Time position.
Pay: Hourly rate and depends on qualifications.
