Experienced Front Desk Representative Wanted!

We are seeking a Saturday evening Front Desk Representative to help grow our business!  Our evening shifts start at 3:30 and run until 7:30 Monday and Wednesday or 8:30 Tuesday and Thursday.  Our Saturday shift starts at 8:30 and lasts until 4:15.  This person can also make some extra money by working our birthday parties and events!  On open swim dates and birthday party dates, this individual must be willing to start later in the day, around 12:00, and work until 7:15.

Job Title: Front Desk Representative
Reports to: General Manager / Assistant GM
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Summary: Promotes quality customer service and processes sales and registration transactions. Acts as the first point of contact for potential and current Goldfish customers, and is responsible for presenting a positive image for the company.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Answers telephones, responds to inquiries, takes messages and screens and directs phone calls in a professional manner.
  2. Processes student registrations using effective sales / customer service techniques.
  3. Resolves customer concerns using a WOW! Customer Service.
  4. Greets parents and students as they report to the front desk.
  5. Maintains cleanliness of the front desk area, Snack Shack area, changing areas, restrooms and observation area.
  6. Checks voicemail and email correspondence and responds in a timely manner.
  7. Updates informational displays with accurate and timely promotions and literature.
  8. Makes calls to resolve open account problems.
  9. Enforces safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents. Administers first aid when necessary.
  10. Fulfills other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Employer.
Education/Experience: High school diploma, GED, preferred. Intermediate level computer skills required using Word, Excel and other software systems.
Certifications and licenses: CPR, First Aid and AED certification strongly preferred.
Work Environment: While performing this job, the employee is exposed to heat and humidity occasionally. Noise level is usually moderate.

Salary : $15 - $20
