Key Responsibilities
- Ensure high-quality daily operations, including staffing, pool maintenance, customer service, retail, and private party management.
- Direct and control daily activities to maintain GSS standards.
- Manage staff to optimize productivity, performance, and job satisfaction.
- Foster effective communication with Deck Supervisors, Lead Teachers, and other team members on scheduling, student progress, customer service, and employee development.
- Provide sales and marketing training to qualified staff.
- Train and oversee private party staff to adhere to GSS procedures.
- Maintain expertise in Links software for efficient bookings, class scheduling, reporting, and administrative tasks.
- Develop knowledge and experience in GSS pool operations to ensure a safe and sanitary swim environment.
- Implement and oversee the Emergency Action Plan (EAP) and safety procedures.
- Train all staff on the GSS EAP.
- Stay up-to-date with industry certifications and professional developments in aquatics and management.
- Schedule staff and manage payroll.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, or equivalent preferred. Experience as a youth sports instructor/coach, camp counselor, or aquatics instructor/supervisor is beneficial. Three to five years of management experience is desirable.
