About The Job
Business Intelligence/Data Analyst
Goldkine is looking for a data/business intel analyst to join our team. You will use various methods to transform raw data from multiple sources into useful data systems and strive for efficiency by aligning data intelligence with business goals. To succeed in this fast-moving industry and marketplace, you should have strong analytical skills and the ability to combine the data from different sources and make strong visualizations out of it in relation to sales and marketing analytics, retail/customer analytics, supply chain analytics, production analytics, etc. You will pull data and provide projections for the Sales and Marketing Team, Business Operations Team, and Production Team and tap into various business and market data sources to gather detailed analytics on the questions in hand. You will also support the Goldkine leadership team in quarterly and annual planning and bring forth key visual dashboards leveraging Microsoft Power BI and other tools. If you are detail oriented, with excellent organizational and productivity skills, and are an expert in Excel and Power BI, we'd like to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
- Passion for creating compelling data to support sell stories to ensure our brands win in retail
- Work cross-functionally with category leadership team to identify demand space opportunities and voids in market
- Study past sales data to determine industry and productivity trends
- Continually evaluate business needs and objectives
- Develop and maintain data reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders
- Engage with outside vendors to leverage additional third-party data sources
- Create and deploy key visual tools and dashboards utilizing Power BI
- Support development of customer retention models and tools to actively monitor
- Build dashboards of key API's and metrics to allow real-time understanding on operational and market environment
- Build strong sales forecasting models and help automate the process

Requirements and/or Preference’s
- Degree in Business Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Data Analytics
- 3 years of CPG and/or Retail industry experience preferred
- 3 years of Hands-on experience in Data & Analytics preferred, but college projects and internships also qualify
- Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Solid understanding of data solutions and how to put custom solutions together to meet complex requirements
- Experience in connecting the dots between business questions/challenges and analytics and then technological tools
- Knowledge of various data sources available to CPG and Retail players, external and internal
- Experience working with relevant delivery teams
- Confident in expressing points of view, making recommendations, and presenting analysis and recommendations where appropriate
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Well-rounded ability in Microsoft Power BI and other programming and BI tools (Python, SAS, Tableau, etc.)
