Job Summary:
The Cook at GoldOller Real Estate Investments will be responsible for preparing delicious meals according to the menu, ensuring timely delivery and excellent taste. This position reports to the Director of Golf Operations.
Location: Canterbury Green Apartments; Birdies Restaurant
Responsibilities:
- Set up workstations with all necessary ingredients and cooking equipment.
- Prepare food items in compliance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Start food items that are prepared ahead of time, avoiding over-preparation.
- Date and rotate all food containers, ensuring proper storage temperatures.
- Monitor stock levels, identify shortages, and place orders when necessary.
- Operate, maintain, and clean various kitchen equipment such as deep fryer, stove, food processor, and grill.
- Dress dishes before serving to ensure excellent presentation.
- Maintain a sanitized and organized kitchen environment.
- Check the quality of ingredients and follow sanitation procedures.
- Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum of one year of proven experience as a cook.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, carry up to 50 pounds, and stand for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule.
- Proficient in using cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware.
- Knowledge of various cooking methods like grilling, baking, and boiling.
- Strong multi-tasking, organizational, and communication skills.
- Excellent conflict resolution abilities and customer service skills.
- Capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
