We are seeking an experienced Housekeeper for our apartment community. In this position, the Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the clean and neat appearance of all assigned areas. Above all else, the spirit of teamwork and cooperation with other team members will not only improve the job you do, but enhance the entire work experience.
Pay: $15-15.50
Location: Granada Gardens
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Clean hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and other common areas.
- Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and/or draperies, using vacuum cleaners and/or shampooers.
Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas. - Sweep, scrub, wax, and/or polish floors, using brooms, mops, and/or powered scrubbing and waxing machines.
- Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
- Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
- Remove debris from common areas
- Observe all State, Federal and Company safety standards/precautions while performing task in order to maintain a safe work environment.
- Observe precautions required to protect Residents, guests and property, and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors.

- Properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to using this equipment.
Qualifications for this Position:
- 2 years of housekeeping experience
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time, walk and climb stairs, climb ladders, crawl in small and tight spaces; stoop and/or kneel; lift and/or move and/or carry up to 20 pounds or more in the work environment.
- Occasional exposure to the outdoor climate and weather conditions.
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products and procedures.
- Able to work weekends, as needed.
