Head Lifeguard

Pay: $18.50-$19.50
Competitive hourly pay commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the direct supervision of the lifeguards on duty
- Oversee the safety and well-being of all guests at the pool facility
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all
- Lifeguard when needed
- Provide excellent guest service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and providing assistance as needed
- Provide feedback to lifeguards to help them hold to lifeguarding standards
- Conduct regular pool inspections to identify any hazards or maintenance issues
- Perform pool cleaning duties, including skimming, vacuuming, and maintaining proper chemical levels
- Respond quickly and effectively to any emergencies or incidents that may occur
- Administer first aid and CPR when necessary
- Assist with pool maintenance and cleaning tasks when needed
- Communicate directives from the aquatic directors
- Report on time for all scheduled shifts

Qualifications
- Must be a certified lifeguard with current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications
- Strong swimming skills and ability to perform rescues when needed
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- Familiarity with pool maintenance procedures and ability to perform basic repairs
- Ability to perform light manual labor as required for pool cleaning and maintenance
