What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lifeguard position at Golf Club of Avon?
Pay Range: $16.50-$18.50
Competitive hourly pay commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety of all guests in and around the pool area
- Monitor pool activities and enforce safety regulations
- Respond quickly and effectively to any emergencies or incidents
- Provide excellent guest service and address any concerns or questions
- Conduct regular pool inspections and maintain a clean and organized pool area
- Perform pool cleaning and maintenance tasks as needed
- Administer first aid and CPR/AED when necessary
- Assist with pool setup and breakdown for events or activities
- Other related duties as assigned
Skills:
- Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First-Aid certifications required
- Strong swimming skills and ability to perform rescues if needed
- Ability to maintain a calm and composed demeanor in emergency situations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Familiarity with pool cleaning and maintenance procedures
