Excellent opportunity to grow with a 40 year established company located in Huntington Beach. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. This is a long-term entry-level position with job training. The ideal candidate will be responsible for office duties maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.
Duties
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely payments to vendors and suppliers.
- Conduct general ledger reconciliation to maintain accurate account balances.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, providing insights into the organization's financial status.
- Record journal entries to reflect all transactions accurately in the accounting system.
Experience
- Entry level position with job training available.
- Experience with bank reconciliation, accounts payable, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Ability to prepare detailed financial reports and conduct analysis as needed.
- Good work ethic, excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
