JOB DESCRIPTION :
GTS currently has over one hundred members that contribute annual dues in service to the pursuit of our mission. Simply put, our members are our most important stakeholder, and we believe camaraderie and engagement with and amongst our members is critical to the success of our community.
As a member of the senior staff, you will report to the GTS Executive Director and will be responsible for developing and delivering a communications and event program that fosters camaraderie amongst the membership as well as engagement with GTS.

A passion for creating clear, concise, and impactful communications.A passion for travel, hospitality, entertainment, golf, and golf lifestyle culture.A passion for creating events and experiences.Truly believe that no job is too small or too big.Have a can-do demeanor and desire to succeed and learn.A colleague who wants to know what others are working on and also wants to help.Enjoys coming up with fun ideas and bringing them to life.A sense of humor and the ability to tell a good story (we like to laugh).Thrives under pressure and exceptional at problem solving and creative solutions.A go-getter, you demonstrate initiative and take-on new challenges.Mature and committed to leading by example.Possesses excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, or equivalent experience.3 years in a related field.Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, social media, CRM, and Net Promoter Score.Occasionally work outside in weather conditions, weekends and extended hours during event execution.Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to :
Create and maintain a definitive list of members, proxies, and contact info.Organize communication tools that allow GTS to effectively engage with stakeholders.Organize listening tools that allow GTS to measure key results.Plan, schedule, and execute all membership meetings and events.Create and distribute a regular member newsletter.Organize regular virtual and / or in person educational seminars.Prepare scorecards and other tools of conveying membership value.Prepare annual membership value summary report.Organize regular member golf outings and social events.Curate membership digital portal.Support new member recruitment.Create and manage budgets and financial reconciliation.Act as communications and engagement point person to the GTS membership and GTS membership committee.Support other communication and engagement related activities as needed.Benefits :
