Department Overview

Position Responsibilities
The Vice President will lead our Treasury Banking Operations Team and manage the end-to-end wire transfer process.

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Reviewing and approving wire transfers; monitoring statuses throughout the business day to ensure deadlines are met
- Leading a team in the wire transfer process to ensure Golub Capital’s internal / external customers are protected by following AML / KYC policy and Treasury’s cash management procedures
- Working with internal and external customers to investigate / research complex wire problems and recommending solutions / resolution plans to Senior Management
- Maintaining strong communication and coordination of work with external bank relationship managers
- Coordinating with the Settlement & Funding Team, Investor Relations, Loan Operations, Accounting, banks and trustees in support of deal fundings, distributions and ad-hoc wire requests
- Opening, closing and providing maintenance to bank accounts; providing KYC information as requested and maintaining current accounts in Treasury Management System
- Ensuring all bank account signatories are current, properly documented, logged and maintained in Treasury Management System
- Providing quarterly reviews of demand deposit accounts to ensure enrollment of contracted treasury services, including interest yield analysis and cost effectiveness
- Overseeing Treasury Management System bank connectivity and BAI file reconciliations
- Providing operational review and approval of quarterly BSL and Middle Market risk ratings
- Managing the Private Placement Number (PPN) process with internal teams, Egan Jones the NAIC and SMA clients
- Acting as the primary system administrator for Treasury Management System and banking portals
- Assisting in developing policies, procedures and training materials to improve efficiency and service
- Identifying potential cash needs of deal fundings by day / week and making recommendations to Treasury Cash Management Funding and Execution Team
- Performing wire security functions through call back procedures
- Documenting and maintaining activity log of wire validation call backs to customers
- Monitoring global banking laws and regulations to ensure compliance
- Maintaining appropriate records for data integrity
- Attending deal closing meetings, as necessary, for proper handling and disbursement of fees
- Maintaining logs, volume activity charts, records and providing management with statistical data, as requested
- Assisting in various ad-hoc projects and requests arising from management
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or relevant major required
- 10 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, banking or Treasury. Domestic and International wire transfer experience required
- Proficiency in GTreasury, or similar Treasury Management System strongly desired
- Strong Excel and Word skills preferred; knowledge of Wall Street Office, SharePoint, FX All and SWIFT messaging systems a plus
- Meticulous attention to detail, analytical and critical thinking skills
- Experience in managing a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Competency in legal / credit documentation
- Ability to independently drive projects to completion, while also functioning effectively in a team environment
- Flexibility around responsibilities and working hours, as required

Compensation and Benefits
For Illinois Only: It is expected that the base salary range for this position will be $145,000 - $195,000. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as skills, experiences and qualifications for the role. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial and / or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits such as vacation, sick time and parental leave) dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, the employee will be in an ‘at-will position’ and the Firm reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time including for reasons related to individual performance, Firm or individual department / team performance and market factors.
