The Commercial & Investment Bank Treasury Deposit Analytics team is responsible for financial analysis and pricing analytics for the Commercial & Investment Bank Payments global deposit portfolio.
As a Treasury Deposit Analytics Vice President within the Commercial & Investment Bank Treasury group, you will be in a high impact position that will be primarily responsible for analyzing and reporting on deposit interest rates and balance trends, including portfolio composition and performance against budget.
Job responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze and report on deposit rates across several dimensions, including business segment, product, region, and currency
- Identify drivers of portfolio rate changes and impact of pricing decisions on balance growth/attrition
- Communicate drivers of performance to a variety of audiences at all levels across Commercial & Investment Bank Payments, Banking, and Treasury
- Manage projects related to deposit rates and balance trending, including working with data infrastructure teams to improve data delivery and dashboard tools for front office and finance/product teams
- Analyze ad hoc requests as needed
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- 7 years’ experience in finance, corporate treasury, or wholesale transactional banking products
- Advanced analytical skills and Excel proficiency, comfortable managing complex tools and data files
- Familiarity and comfort with big data analytical tools such as Tableau and Alteryx, with demonstrated ability to learn and implement new tools over time
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, including ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
- Strong communication skills, including ability to present complex topics to senior leaders in concise and cogent presentations
- Work well with cross-functional partners
- Great attitude and willingness to learn
