Job Description
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently while handling a heavy caseload. The successful candidate will be responsible for determining case strategies, providing legal counsel, preparing legal documents, and arguing motions in court.
- Determine case strategies and solutions to serve clients' needs after analysis.
- Provide legal counsel to clients by analyzing their needs and determining a proper course of action.
- Prepare legal documents, such as briefs, motions, and pleadings, as well as correspondence.
Qualifications
- Accredited law school graduate with a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree and 2 years of related experience.
- Decision-making, public speaking, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and communication skills are essential.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is necessary.
- A member of the local bar association in good standing, preferably an active member.
- Strong knowledge of legal research programs, such as Westlaw and Lexis products.
