Boba Barista/Cashier

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Barista to join our café team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality coffee beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Your role will involve engaging with customers, taking orders, and ensuring that every drink meets our quality standards. Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their orders.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for cash handling and processing transactions accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and workstations.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high hygiene standards in food preparation areas.
• Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies as needed and reporting low inventory levels to management.
• Engage with customers to promote sales of beverages and food items while providing recommendations based on their preferences.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and efficiency.

Experience

• Previous experience in a café or food service environment is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers.
• Basic knowledge of coffee preparation techniques is a plus; enthusiasm for learning about coffee is essential.
• Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems is advantageous.
• A commitment to food safety practices and maintaining cleanliness in the work area.
