GLEZ Designs Field Surveyor
This position will work to support our company’s ongoing telecommunication projects through the utilization of RTK GPS, GPS data collector, and laser distance finder for aerial design. These are used to collect the necessary field information to allow the team to effectively draft the required job location by the customer. The field surveyor will be responsible for communicating with their team and supervisor on a daily basis to ensure that all tasks are completed on time.
Responsibilities:
- Accountable for working with your supervisor’s direction on project execution
- Drive to job locations and research what information the customer is requesting to ensure a complete and satisfactory survey
- Required to work independently and completing all assigned tasks daily
- Participate on project teams and ensure compliance with predetermined project deliverables
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- No experience necessary. Willing to train for the right candidate.
- Ability lift up to 30 lbs and walk 1-5 miles/day
- Valid Driver’s license and clean background
- Able to work in all weather conditions
- Great organization and communication skills
- Competency to communicate with both internal and external customers
- Professional email etiquette
- Willingness to learn and grow as an employee
- Work and thrive in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work independently and achieve goals set by supervisors
