L.J Gonzer Associates is looking for individuals to join our pool of qualified candidates for potential assignment as a R&D Scientist. You'll be responsible for research, development, production and pricing of all products, and providing technical customer service. -Provide product costing data and pricing and special quotations for all products -Assist, educate and recommend suitable products to customers -Formulate custom liquids for specialized customer applications -Perform stability and compatibility studies in developing new products -Maintain clean and safe laboratory and production facilities according to Good Laboratory Practices, OSHA, and ISO -Establish quality control policies and procedures -Coordinate with Lab Production Manager to schedule production operations, including verification of raw materials meeting required specifications -Ensure coordination of purchasing, production, and shipping -Provide technical customer service and work closely with the Technical Services Administrator in ensuring compliance with government regulations in the manufacture, handling, storage, packaging and shipping of raw materials and finished goods -Responsible for design and maintenance of website -Perform all other duties as assigned Comply with applicable regulations of EPA and NJDEPLiaison with environmental consultants-B.S in Chemistry or other technical degree with concentrations in math and computer science -Thorough knowledge of laboratory methods, techniques, and related equipment including microscopy methods, refractometers, spectrophotometers, spectrofluorometers, densitometers, viscometers, and other instruments and devices -Experience in chemical, optics or physics laboratories -Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities, easily adapt to changing situations -Highly organized, self-motivated, able to work independently -Experience in Quality Control and ISO
