As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Sales Account Executive to expand our presence across the state, with a primary focus on the Albuquerque market.
Position Overview
The Sales Account Executive will be responsible for building strong relationships with dispensaries, increasing sales, and driving business growth. This role requires a self-motivated sales professional with a deep understanding of the cannabis industry and a passion for business development. The position involves extensive travel throughout New Mexico, meeting with clients, attending industry events, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and establish relationships with new dispensary partners.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue and expand market reach.
- Manage existing accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Educate clients on Gonzo Family Farms’ product offerings, promotions, and industry trends.
- Travel throughout the state to conduct in-person meetings, attend events, and drive sales.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer support.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market insights.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in cannabis, beverage, or consumer goods.
- Strong understanding of wholesale cannabis sales and the New Mexico market.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet sales goals.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel frequently.
- Must be 21 and compliant with state cannabis regulations.
Compensation & Incentive Structure
Base Pay:
- $17/hour (full-time)
Commission & Bonuses:
- 7% commission on all new accounts’ first orders.
- 4% commission on repeat orders over $5,000 in a single month.
- 2% commission on total monthly sales exceeding $50,000.
- $500 quarterly bonus for exceeding $150,000 in total sales.
- $1,000 quarterly bonus for exceeding $250,000 in total sales.
- $250 new client bonus for each dispensary that places an order over $5,000.
- $200 retention bonus each quarter for maintaining active relationships with 10 dispensary accounts.
