Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified mental health clinician to fill the position of Emergency Services Clinician at Goochland Powhatan Community Services Board. In this role, you will provide crisis intervention services, pre-admission screening evaluations for hospitalization, crisis counseling, and information and referrals to individuals in need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and respond to crisis situations
- Conduct pre-admission screening evaluations for hospitalization
- Provide crisis counseling and support
- Develop and implement treatment plans
Our Work Environment:
We operate in two clinics located in Goochland and Powhatan counties, which are open Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm. This role offers a great opportunity for those who enjoy a variety of work and want to make a real difference in people's lives.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in a human services field
- License or License Eligible
- Certified Prescreener highly preferred
