Cannabis Data Entry Tech - Quality

Job Description:

The Data Entry Tech transfers data from internal software to regulatory database systems in an accurate and timely manner. This position ensures the accurate entry of vital product information and regularly communicates with State Agents to facilitate and maintain the State of Missouri’s Item Approval Process.

Essential Duties and Responsiblities:

• Transfer internal data to regulatory database systems using computers and keyboards.

• Communicate regularly via email with State of Missouri agents to facilitate the review and approval of our METRC items.

• Retrieve information from databases or electronic files.

• Perform regular checks to ensure all process steps have been followed and completed accurately.

• Review the status of state-submitted items and promptly follow up on requests.

• Organize and files paperwork after entering data to ensure it is easily accessible.

• Assist in maintaining internal resources (Spreadsheets, Dashboards, etc.) that house product/SKU information.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and able to obtain a State Marijuana Agent Card

• 1 years data entry experience

• Fast typing skills: knowledge of touch-typing system is strongly preferred

• Working knowledge of work processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office, Work, Excel)

• Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices

• Basic understanding of databases

• Great attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and have excellent attendance

• Ability to work overtime hours and on-call shifts

Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Sitting 8 hours each shift including occasional bending and squatting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour
