Job Summary:
The Logistics Coordinator will be involved in monitoring inventory, transportation, and warehousing activities to maintain and expedite the supply chain. This position will assist in the flow and processes from the point of origin to the consumption, while providing clerical support for logistical operations.
Job Responsibilities:
• Create freight shipment tenders to prepare for carrier submission
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments for GFG logistics, including track & trace activities
• Audit freight invoices to ensure billing accuracy meets requirements and pricing agreements
• Assist with gathering and cleansing data for various logistics metrics, scorecards, and reports
• Perform other duties in Supply Chain, including, but not limited to, Procurement & Warehousing support
• Follow SOP and work instructions, update as needed to ensure operational best practices are in line with customer requirements
• Prepare export shipments and distribute export documents
• Manage and keep shipping schedule up to date for warehouse team
• Comply with all Company rules, regulations, and policies
• Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Additional Skills:
• Associate degree/ Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or related field, completed or in progress
• 1-2 years previous work experience in a similar role
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Previous experience working in SAP and TMS applications preferred
• Effective communication, including writing, speaking and interpersonal communication
• Quick critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent customer service and client relations skills
• Keep organization and time management skills
• Good collaboration and teamwork abilities
• Great leadership and goal-setting skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Advanced data analysis and data visualization

Travel:
• This position will not require travel
Work Environment:
• Typical office environment
• Offices with equipment noise
• Offices with frequent interruptions
• Mostly indoor office environment with windows
• If time is needed in the plant, the employee may be subject to production environment approximately 85 percent of the work time. (wet environment with temperatures in the range of 38 to 40 degrees)
• Medium/High noise levels from operating machines.
• Physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts.
• Frequently required to use personal protective equipment to enforce Good Food Manufacturing (GMP’s) processes.
Physical Requirements:
• Use hands to find, handle, touch and manipulate items
• Speak and/or hear
• Stand for extended periods, walk and reach with hands or arms
• Occasionally stoop, reach, crouch, twist and walk
• Have vision abilities to include proximate vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus as well as be able to effectively see and process computer generated images on a screen
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally
• Able to work overtime and/or weekends
