Immediate Hire Armed Security Officer! We are seeking a highly trained and reliable Armed Security Officer to join our team. The Armed Security Officer will be responsible for safeguarding our premises, assets, personnel, and maintaining a safe and secure environment. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to make quick, sound decisions in high-pressure situations. The Armed Security Officer must be fully trained and licensed to carry and use firearms in accordance with local, state, and federal laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety and security of the company's premises, employees, and visitors.
- Perform regular patrols of designated areas to detect and deter security threats.
- Monitor security systems and alarms and respond to any breaches or incidents promptly.
- Control access to the premises and verify the identity of individuals entering the facility.
- Act as a visible deterrent to potential threats and unauthorized personnel.
- Provide assistance and support during emergencies, such as fires, medical incidents, or evacuations.
- Report any unusual or suspicious activities and maintain detailed incident reports.
- Effectively communicate with law enforcement and emergency response teams when required.
- Collaborate with other security personnel to coordinate efforts and ensure overall security integrity.
- Maintain and inspect firearms and security equipment regularly to ensure their proper functioning.
- Adhere to all relevant local, state, and federal laws and regulations regarding the use of firearms and security practices.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college or military experience is a plus.
- Valid state-issued armed security officer license.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws governing security practices and the use of firearms.
- Strong physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, and perform security duties for extended periods.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Previous experience in law enforcement, military, or security is preferred.
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure and respond to emergencies effectively.
Requirements:
The Armed Security Officer must be physically fit and able to meet the following requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Lift and carry heavy objects up to 40lbs. when necessary.
