Construction Superintendent

About the Role

We are looking for a Landscape Construction Superintendent to lead on-site operations for commercial and residential landscape projects. You will oversee crews, subcontractors, and equipment while ensuring high-quality work, safety compliance, and on-time project completion.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience in landscape construction, hardscaping, irrigation systems, and safety management .

Key Responsibilities :

• Supervise all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Direct and manage crews (3-6 members), subcontractors, and vendors.
• Oversee the installation of hardscapes, retaining walls, multi-zone irrigation systems, and low-voltage lighting .
• Enforce OSHA safety regulations and ensure site security.
• Schedule and coordinate inspections with city officials and municipalities .
• Work with the Project Manager to track job progress, report daily activities, and adjust schedules as needed.
• Maintain accurate redline drawings and approve daily timecards.
• Conduct safety training and toolbox talks for crews.

Qualifications :

• 5 years of experience in landscape construction, site supervision, or hardscape projects .
• Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, retaining walls, and low-voltage lighting .
• Ability to read blueprints, contracts, and construction plans .
• Experience in equipment / material procurement and crew leadership .
• OSHA Certification (preferred).
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
