What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chaplain position at Good Neighbor Society?
The Good Neighbor Society is seeking a Chaplain to provide spiritual services and support for residents and tenants of the Good Neighbor Society approximately 20 hours per week. This a is a Independent Contractor role.
Responsibilities Include :
- Prepare and lead Sunday ecumenical worship services for Good Neighbor Home, Marietta's Place, and The Meadows.
- Prepare and lead bible studies / special seasonal programming dependent on the liturgical calendar.
- Individual visits / counseling with tenants / residents.
- Communicates with local ministers and priests as needed.
- Maintains the confidentiality of tenant, resident, employee, and organizational information.
- Upholds the mission to provide compassionate Christian care to those we serve.
