About the job:
As a Frontend Developer at Good Ranchers, you will play a crucial role in driving feature development and enhancing the user experience of our e-commerce software. You will work closely with key stakeholders across the organization to shape and improve our current web application, ensuring it is responsive, mobile-first, and meets the highest standards of usability and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Focus on the development of our web app and web team, focusing on frontend design and architecture.
- Design and shape our current web application into a responsive, mobile-first app.
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code that adheres to coding standards.
- Identify and fix bugs, ensuring the application’s stability and reliability.
- Test and evaluate the app for security and performance issues.
- Validate and test for cross-browser, cross-platform, and cross-device compatibility.
- Conduct research to explore and implement innovative solutions.
- Participate in code standards and lead code reviews to maintain a high-quality codebase.
Requirements:
- Experience developing and architecting single-page web applications using JavaScript frameworks, specifically Next.js and React.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript for building scalable and maintainable code.
- Strong understanding of state management concepts, with experience using Context API, Zustand, or Redux for global state management.
- Solid understanding of HTTP routing principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in writing unit, integration, and UI tests using industry-standard testing suites.
- Strong knowledge of Git and GitHub for version control and collaborative development.
Good To Haves:
Experience working with cloud platforms such as GCP (Google Cloud Platform) and AWS (Amazon Web Services).
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience developing frontend applications in NextJS or React
- Prior experience working on e-commerce projects is highly preferred.
- Shopify development experience
- Experience in designing user interfaces and collaborating with designers to create intuitive and visually appealing web applications.
- Ability to contribute to the overall user experience strategy and provide valuable insights for improving usability and user engagement.
- Familiarity with responsive design principles and optimizing user experiences across different devices and screen sizes.
- Experience with UI testing is highly desirable.
Salary : $85,000 - $105,000
