Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team as a Travel LPN. This opportunity allows an LPN to travel locally by working in various locations within a 150-mile radius from home, providing care with competitive pay, mileage reimbursement, flexibility, and no contract requirement.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles for residents in the relevant clinical setting.
- Provide care that meets the physical and psychosocial needs of residents, as per care plan.
- Evaluate data reflective of resident's status and administer medications or treatments as ordered.
- Recognize problems, recommend solutions, and respond effectively to emergent situations.
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
- Obligations include completing required annual continuing education units (CEU) and competency training requirements of the department and facility.
