We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our not-for-profit organization that has provided over 100 years of housing and services to seniors with a commitment to quality care and service in a Christian environment.

Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Treatment Design: Conduct thorough assessments of clients and design effective occupational therapy treatments to promote recovery and independence.
- Client Support: Help clients develop, maintain, and recover their ability to perform daily tasks, addressing functional, cognitive, or behavioral impairments.
- Evaluation and Intervention: Conduct evaluations and provide interventions to support clients in achieving their goals.
- Goal Setting and Program Development: Develop realistic therapy goals and administer occupational therapy programs tailored to individual client needs.
- Documentation and Education: Document client information and provide education to enhance understanding and improve functional outcomes.
You will demonstrate documentation in accordance with departmental guidelines and meet all regulatory requirements. Participation in activities promoting the department, Good Samaritan Society, and Sanford Health is also expected.
Requirements:
- Certification: Certification through the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) or temporary license in the state of South Dakota and Iowa is required.
- BLS Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers certification is also mandatory.
