About the Role: As an LPN at the Good Samaritan Society, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents. You will be responsible for providing professional nursing care, administering medications and treatments as ordered, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver professional nursing care to residents in long-term care settings
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians or advanced practice providers
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document resident interactions and outcomes related to care, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary needs
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program with a current unencumbered LPN license
- Experience working in long-term care settings preferred
- Ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams and communicate with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
