Salary Range:
We offer a competitive salary range of $17.00 - $25.50 per hour, depending on experience.
About the Job:
This full-time position requires a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing or state certified CNA within four months of hire. As a nursing assistant, you will serve as caregiver to residents during scheduled work periods, providing age-appropriate care related to physical and psychological needs. You will also be responsible for documenting resident interactions and outcomes, communicating changes in condition, and participating in departmental committees as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Provide resident-centered care, including daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, and assisting with meals and snacks.
- Collect non-invasive body fluid specimens and gather vital signs.
- Document resident interactions and outcomes, communicate changes in condition, and participate in departmental committees as needed.
Requirements:
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred but not required.
- Minimum age of 16.
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
