Job Summary:
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in our nursing team, providing direct care to our residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). As a CNA, you will be responsible for assisting residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, while also providing emotional support and comfort.
You will also assist with transferring, repositioning, and walking residents using proper transfer techniques and equipment. Additionally, you will help with food preparation and dining, creating a positive experience for our residents. You may also participate in departmental committees and task forces as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum age of 16
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position
